Our boys in blue take a lot of guff from arrogant citizens; and I prefer to cut 'em a little slack after a long, hot day of arguing over traffic tickets, intervening in domestic disputes, and watching out for bad guys wanting to rob, rape, pillage and jihad. These guys deserve to stop and have a few cold ones on the way home tonight--and no need to worry if they stay in the city; only the Highway Patrol tickets officers with an i.d. and badge. You owe 'em an apology.
